Identity of the Anti-Christ

My wife received an email from a friend yesterday from the pastor of a local church. The email basically stated that O'Bama was the Antichrist. Over the past 60 years, God has sent out the alarm to His people that the time prophesied by the Old Testament prophets, (Moses, Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc.) Jesus Christ, John, Paul, Peter,etc. is quickly approaching. We are warned that many things will happen which will point to the culmination of History with a 7 year period known as the "Tribulation" in which God will mete out His judgment on the unbelieving Nations while Re-establishing/and protecting His people, the Jews, in their Nation, Israel. The events which would point to the coming seven year period include but are not limited to the following:

- Increased Earthquakes and Natural Disasters
- Increased Wars in different places around the world
- Increased diseases and famines
- Signs in the Heavens (Astronomical Events)
-The relaxation of Moral Codes - Increase of Immorality and Sexuality
- Human life will become worthless (child murder,child rape, abortion, etc.)
-Re-establishment of Israel as a Nation. (happened in 1948)
-The revival of the Roman Empire. (can you say... European Union)
- A new, young nation which rules the world which the Bible calls Mystery Babylon (can you say... USA/America) which has a large Jewish Population
- The world will have the ability to travel great distances very quickly (Daniel 12:4)
- The world will greatly increase in knowledge (Daniel 12:4)
- The world will be able to see an event live at one time (Revelation 11:9)
- Rise of China as a world power (Revelation 9:14)

These are just signs that the 7 year Tribulation period is approaching.

The Tribulation Period will begin with the Confirming of the Treaty between Israel and the Nations that guarantees Israel's peace. You should note that of the countries which border Israel, there currently are treaties between Jordon and Egypt. Currently a treaty is in the works between Fatah/PLO/Palestinians and Syria has stated that after a new prime ministers is elected in Israel and a new President in the USA then Syria will meet face to face with Israel. Israel has been in meetings with Syria indirectly through Turkey and Qatar this year. Once signed, Israel will be at peace along its' borders. Once signed, all that remains is for a Politician or Leader from Europe or the USA to step forward and say... "We, the Nations of the World, will guarantee these agreements and enforce them." Israel will then begin to rebuild its' temple. This process has been underway for 30+ years. Go here to see:

The corner stone for the Temple has not be set but the Stone is prepared and ready to be set. Israel is waiting for the World to allow it.

It is at the Confirmation of the Peace Agreements that the Anti-Christ is revealed. What do we know about this person?

- He has forsaken the god of his Father. He serves a new god. The god of Power.
- He will have great charisma
- The number of his name is Six Hundred Sixty Six. (Hebraic Numerology)
- He will rise from the peoples who came from the former Roman Empire. (includes Europe, Middle East, North Africa, and America)
- He will be a political figure
- His power will be given to him by the World Government and those who control the World Government

So given this description who is the Anti-christ? Is Obama the Anti-Christ? Answer: We don't know.

In my opinion Javier Solana of the European Union (i.e. Mr. Europe) and Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President, are just as likely to be the Anti-Christ as O'bama if not more so. It is true that O'bama has been hailed as the "Messiah" by the Socialist Press in America but this is because O'bama is going to play ball with the leftist World Governments and continue to corrode America's sovereignty in the process.

If you are sincere about watching for the coming 7 year tribulation there are 4 things that will point to its' immediate arrival:

1 - Persecution/Arrest/Execution of Real Christians (Laodicean Christians will not be persecuted) in America. (Revelation 17:5-7) and/or

2 - Israel wiping out Damascus in Syria with Nuclear Weapons (Isaiah 17) (Almost happened in 1973 Yom Kippur War) and/or
3- Russia with Iran, Turkey, Islamic Russian Republics, Libya, Sudan launching an attack on Israel (Ezekial 38) and/or
4- The confirmation of the Peace Treaties with Israel and the Nations and the laying of the corner stone of the new Temple in Jerusalem. (Daniel 9)

These four things are the primary events which will lead to the 7 year period. Watch for these events and you will know when the time of Jacob's Trouble is upon us.

In my opinion... we are on the edge of the cliff waiting for a small breeze to push us over.
