Christians, Idoltry, and Demons

A man brought a rabid fox home one day. He told his family it was their new pet. They fed it, played with it, petted it. Eventually the fox's condition worsened and it attacked everyone in the family. The house was left in shambles and the family was left wondering why this happened. It happened because they allowed a rabid fox to come into their home.

Christians today are doing the same thing. They are bringing scorpions and serpents into their houses with the expectation that they will never be harmed. Due in large part to the "Seeker-sensitive" churches with their rejection of the Truth of G_d's Word, discernment has diminished and many are giving satan access to their homes, families, and bodies. How is this access being granted? Through the occult.

Horoscopes, Ouiji Boards, Psychics, Witchcraft, Drug Use/Sorcery, Talking to the Dead, Fantasy Games, Astrology, and etc have infected the Laodicean church in America. New Age philosophy is creeping into our vernacular. Prominent pastors in Seattle, WA and other places are recommending books authored by New Age philosophers. What is the result?

In the last 2 weeks our Rabbi of our messianic congregation has had to cast out demons from at least 2 people who are Believers. They had been dabbling in horoscopes, ouiji boards, and witchcraft. Demons indwelling Believers. How? All the arguments against this are base on the presupposition that the Holy Spirit cannot dwell where satan is dwelling. But in Ezekiel (Ezekiel 8, 9, 10 esp. Ezekiel 10:8) we see that the Holy Spirit is in the Holy of Holies while in the inner and outer parts of the Temple all the gods of the pagans are being worshiped by the Levitical Priests. Aren't we the Temple of G_d? Wasn't that the Temple of G_d during Ezekiel's day? The answer to both questions is "yes" so the argument against the physical indwelling of demons in a Christian cannot be made based on that presupposition. Now understand that I am not stating that these brothers/sisters in Christ were Possessed. I am stating that they were indwelt. They had invited the demons into their lives by their idolatry. Our Rabbi un-invited the demons and the believers repented of their sin. The items were burned/destroyed and they departed from those acts.

In the coming days, you will see further inroads of the occult into the Church. Expect to see more manifestations of demons during the services and in the lives of christians.
