The Coming National Bank?

Why did the Federal Reserve force Bank of America to take over Merrill Lynch? What is  real reason? Bank of America swore after it bought Schwab and then divested it that it would never do that again earlier this year?  Why then did Bank of America "come to the rescue" of Merrill Lynch? You can bet that the Federal Reserve forced it on Bank of America. The Fed. couldn't "bail out" Merrill Lynch after it did so with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Sterns. So it forced BA to do it. But what is the real purpose here? 

I believe that its' purpose is to consolidate all the Banks into one National Bank. This has been the real dream of the Elitest since Alexander Hamilton and the Federalist. Imagine what the US Government can do in its' control over the populace if the Government owns the banks? wow. 

AIG is going to go bankrupt on Wednesday. AIG holds 1 Trillion Dollars.
